Matchday 1 of the JCL for the North West region was played on Tuesday 23 May at Timber Ridge Reserve.

Manningham United Blues FC were magnificent hosts, the playing surface was in great condition; the boys and girls enjoyed playing under lights on a brisk evening at Doncaster.

The food being served at the canteen was delicious and everything was very well organised,  once again the host club has set the bar high for future rounds.

The highlight for most players was playing under lights and walking out onto the pitch to the Champions League Anthem.

There were some tantalising games on the night and some great football on display.  We'd like to also thank and complement the behaviour from the players, parents and supporters which all showed great sportsmanship.
