The JCL is back, and is bigger than ever, coming off the back of exciting and successful 2023 edition!
This invite-only competition will offer mid-week (Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday) games for high-quality players at great facilities hosted by your clubs.
Players will compete once a month midweek in a best v best competition in the South, East, North, West and Regional zones.
Due to huge demand in Miniroos Kangaroos across Victoria, teams will play in a JCL Qualifier day where they'll battle it out progress to JCL or into JCL2. The format is likened to the current structures in Europe in the UCL and UEL.
About
- JCL Qualifier gala day on April 25 (ANZAC Day) - all teams play 3 games in groups of 4 (10min halves)
- Teams will qualify for JCL (1st & 2nd) or JCL2(3rd and 4th)
- JCL and JCL2 includes - 3 x group games + Final Series over Winter Season
- Cross over in the Grand Final round between zones
- Overage players will not be eligible to compete
Age Groups (Per Zone)
- Under 8 (Born in 2016), 7v7, 8 teams, 25min halves,
- Under 9 (Born in 2015), 7v7, 8 teams, 25min halves,
- Under 10 (Born in 2014), 9v9, 8 teams, 25min halves,
- Under 11 (Born in 2013), 9v9, 8 teams, 25min halves,
- Under 12 Boys (Born in 2012), 9v9, 8 teams, 25min halves
- Under 12 Girls (Born in 2012), 9v9, 4 teams, 25min halves
- Under 13 (Born in 2011), 9v9, 8 teams, 25min halves,
NOTE: ANZAC Day Qualifiers will only be 10 minute halves, or 15 minute halves if only playing twice on the day
ANZAC Day Qualifier Venues
- Caroline Springs George Cross 12pm-9pm: North and West teams in qualifiers
- Bentleigh Greens 12pm-6pm: South and West teams in qualifiers
NOTE: Under 12 Girls and Regional/Geelong teams won't be required to play qualifiers
