JCL 2026

Player Eligibility

What every player, coach and team manager needs to know before taking the field

To keep JCL fair and competitive for every club, the eligibility rules below apply to all players across JCL1, JCL2 and JCL3. Please make sure your squad is fully compliant before Finals — ineligible players may cost your team the fixture.

1
Online Registration
Required to play in Finals

Players must be registered online to play in Finals. If a player is not on the online registered team list, they will not be eligible to participate.

2
One Team Per Age Group
No cross-team eligibility within the same age group

Players cannot play across two teams in the same age group. For example, a player who has played for a team in U12 cannot play for another U12 team across any category — JCL1, JCL2 or JCL3.

3
Overage Players
Written approval required

Any overage players must have written approval from JCL Management before they participate. Overage players without this approval will be unable to participate.

4
Proof of Age & ID Checks
Bring valid ID to every fixture
⚠️

Valid ID Is Mandatory

All players must bring a valid form of ID with them when playing, as ID checks will be performed where requested. Failure to present a valid physical ID may result in forfeiture of the fixture the player plays in, if a complaint is raised.

Valid Forms of ID

Driving Licence

Birth Certificate

Plus one of the following:

  • Student card with photo ID issued by the school
